Well first of all I want to say that the quality of their shoes is very good. I think I have 4 or 5 pairs bought over a few years. I can't comment on the clothes offered. My main gripe would be their customer services. I ordered a pair of boots plus a returns label just in case they needed to go back. TWICE in a row they sent the wrong size! I also found out that if you phone them you're paying a premium rate 0871 number!No offer of compensation, nothing. No acknowledgement that I'd sent the wrong size boots back. What really makes me sad about this is they are obviously employing people to make their goods and yet the management seems absolutely indifferent to the service they offer. Which means that hard working employees will end up out of work because of management failure and incompetence. It gives me no pleasure to say it, but I shall not be buying from them again.

Appalling customer service. I was only shopping for a simple, thin, woollen navy jumper and ended up buying their "sock bundle". They sounded like great quality and the price was reassuring. When they arrived I quickly realised they were anything but so I returned them (using the pre-paid label that I unwittingly paid for when I ordered?!). Then came the faff of trying to prove I had returned them in order to get a refund. I think we exchanged over 10 emails! I'm very brand loyal and will definitely NOT be buying anything from these guys again. My advice is to steer well clear.

Ordered shoes last Tuesday just of phone 2 find out where my order is the advisor was polite but said they were being processed through factory so you pay £5.95 for a 4/5 delivery so basically its a 2 weeks delivery service emailed as well but still waiting 5 days later have asked is there a problem with refer a friend as there seem 2 be problem

Just had the second pair delivered today- Prestige Brouges. Standard Delivery- here in 3 days. Pretty fastProduct, incredible quality at the price- amazing. I have paid 3 times as much, for half the quality elsewhere.

Hi, I bought 2 pairs of shoes, the classic kempton, black and oxblod, the delivery arrived today, but no happy at all the main problem the instep is very narrow, I tried them but I couldn't wear is so tight and painful wearing those shoes, I don't like sending back merchandise so putted back in the boxes and keep them, wasted money..

I have read a lot of negative reviews about this company. I have had a few pairs of shoes over the past three years and all have been of good quality and arrived really quick. Just purchased a Tweed jacket on the 10/3/21 and received on the 13/3/21. Great fit great quality and great service. I will certainly use again in the future

Let's talk about the positives first... the products look great and the initial purchase was smooth and timely. That said, (and here are the negatives), to me, what makes a great experience is when things go wrong and the experience remains positive. Sadly, the first coat I bought didn't fit (their sizes are a little off) so I returned it and asked for another size. There was no communication, to tracking and the box was left outside. On opening the box, the coat was damaged so I decided to cut my losses. There was no return note so it cost me £6 to return. Ten days later, no notification of receiving it and no refund. So... I call them and they say they haven't received it yet - until I give them my Collect+ tracking. A resigned "Oh, OK, we've received it, (huff), do you want me to do a refund them?" Umm, you've had it for a week, I'd kinda hoped it was already done.Latest: I've been told I'll only get £75 of the £85 I paid back. Avoid, this is not a good company to deal with, there are more, reliable online vendors.Shame really, as the products *look* great...

I have read a lot of negative reviews.I ordered a waistcoat and paid for premium delivery as it was for valentines present(left it late) and received this on the day expected. I did not take up the option of purchasing a return label, as did not expect to have to return, but item turned out to be too big. I returned via normal Royal Mail, signed for service, yes it cost me double to do so, but i am more than happy as i received the replacement item today, 5 days after returning. So for all the negativity, i am more than happy with the service provided. So well done to all concerned?

Placed an order on Friday and paid for next day delivery...Item did not turn up so I rang SW on their premium rate phone number..I was given a tracker number for the item along with an apology...and told that I would be refunded my postage and the item would be with me on Monday. .well guess what Monday came and went item did not arrive ...I rang again to be told that the item was in the warehouse awaiting collection and would definitely arrive on Tuesday...It's Tuesday and still no items. .This is really shoddy customer service..I will not order from SW again

Do not even consider ordering from Samuel Windsor. I ordered a pair of pants over 3 weeks ago from this joke of a company. I paid for next day delivery, didn't turn up the next day or the day after but i felt for them as this is a hard time for everyone at the moment so i expected it to be a few days late, one week on didn't hear anything so i email explaining the situation they then sent me a hermes tracking number(worst delivery service known to man) that said that they had just received the package. I decided to wait a few more days and see what happens, that turned into a week so i started to get on hermes's case but no response. After two weeks i had had enough so i told Samuel Windsor to refund me and leave it at that, they then emailed saying they "had just noticed" that hermes had lost my package so they would send a new pair with "express delivery " but no refund . It has been a week since they said that and i am still waiting for the the pants so i emailed them about how terrible this situation is and the email i got back really pissed me off "As advised in previous emails your order has been placed again and sent on express delivery, we do appreciate your patience." rubbish you told me express delivery and its been a week. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY

Same as last two reviews . Ordered a coat 2 weeks ago . Their website states dispatch email in 24 hrs . 4 days later no dispatch email received. Phoned and told short of boxes but due in that day and would be dispatched the next day . I have phoned , on different days , a further twice and emailed once . Each time the same answer , ‘ sorry , we were short of boxes but they are coming in today and item will be dispatched tomorrow ‘.Last of these responses was 3 days ago - and still nothing . This is not a delivery/ courier problem but a dispatch problem. What they don’t seem to understand is that my complaint isn’t so much that I haven’t received the item yet ( although of course I’m unhappy about that ) but that they keep telling me mistruths saying ‘ your item will be dispatched tomorrow ‘ .All this does is build up false hope only to be let down again . Absolutely disgraceful.

I have been a customer of Samuel Windsor for many years, and have purchased a lot of things from them. However, on the 18th of January I placed 2 orders with the company, the first was for 3 x waistcoats which were delivered within a few days, so no problem there. I also placed a seperate order for a grey Oxford Jacket, and when it didn't arrive with the first order I rang Customer Services and was told that the jacket would be delayed because Samuel Windsor were moving premises. I checked the Hermes tracking number on Monday to find that the carrier is still waiting for the package, so I rang again and spoke to an extremely rude young lady who informed me that they had run out of boxes to pack jackets and coats in (seriously). Folks this is a huge operation and they ran out of packaging, whoever is their stock control Manager wants sacking. I have just checked the Hermes tracking number again, and guess what, they still havent received it, so I phoned again, this time speaking to a nice young lady who informed me that there were problems with despatch, so I asked to speak to a supervisor to find out which millenium I would receive my jacket, that was nearly 2 hours ago, so I guess they don't want to talk to me and they really don't give a monkey's for their customers, well if you read all the negative reviews on here you start to get the picture. Samuel Windsor, do you seriously want to hack off all of your customers, because you are really trying this ones patience.

Should have done my homework.... I have ordered clothes from SW and paid the additional £8.50 for the 24hr delivery, nothing yet almost three days later. Email confirmation of order but no confirmation or ability to check shipping or tracking which almost all other online retailers offer - poor customer service based on the competition and regardless of the quality of clothes, which based on other reviews I am not hopeful about now, will not use again when there are so many better options online.UPDATE I received an email about an hour after I left this review from HERMES saying my delivery was now scheduled for Friday...it arrived a few hours later. In addition with the box was the delivery note for a customer in the West Mids, wonder how he is getting on. In fairness the quality of the clothes is OK but CW you are going to have to sharpen up your delivery and comms if you want to keep customers. As I said originally I have other options.Thank you for the response from SW - yes I have received a refund of the additional shipping charge, many thanks.

Fantastic Service Had a problem with an order ,SW phoned me back and resolved the problem within 24 hours .Very helpful and friendly .Thank You
